• Port Filtering — allows you to block outgoing Internet trac, identied by port numbers.

• Port Forwarding — allows you to permit incoming trac from the Internet to be forwarded

to a particular computer or device on your Wi-Fi network. Use to allow Internet users to

access any server you are running on your computer, such as a web, FTP, or email server.

NOTE Port Forwarding must be used for some online games to function correctly. The use of Port

Forwarding creates a security risk and should be turned oﬀ when not required.
